Our little Houdini

Charlie's been having a tough time getting to sleep at night. He was doing so well up until about 2 weeks ago. KC would swaddle, shush and rock him to sleep with relative ease. He now cries, like I've never heard him cry before (he's definitely found his voice), and struggles to release himself a la Houdini, from his blanket that binds him. After about half an hour of, what sounded like a battle in our bedroom, KC got him down. Go KC! When I walked into our room to go to bed around 11:00pm, this is the sight I saw.

Oh my goodness! I couldn't stop laughing and had to leave the room as not to wake him. I grabbed the camera of course, I couldn't resist capturing this. It looks like he did a good job freeing his legs, but Dad did such a stellar swaddle job, Charlie just couldn't compete. I think we're nearing the end of our swaddling routine.
